The Story Behind Staging Concepts
Riya Jaisinghani is the founder of Staging Concepts, a Mumbai-based Interior Styling Studio - focused on enhancing how spaces present and perform through thoughtful, high-impact styling.
Staging Concepts began not as a formal business plan, but as an organic extension of Riya’s natural inclination toward decorating and spatial styling. While based in Delhi, she often found herself helping friends and family prepare their homes for rentals or sale — rearranging layouts, decluttering spaces, and introducing subtle styling elements so the properties would photograph better and feel more inviting during walkthroughs. What began as informal assistance soon revealed a clear pattern: many homes weren’t lacking potential — they simply weren’t being presented at their best.
Recognising the growing importance of visual presentation in real estate, Riya began approaching styling more strategically — focusing on neutral, market-friendly décor designed to appeal to the widest audience while helping people emotionally connect with the space. Over time, this evolved into working with property owners, brokers, and landlords across Delhi, all seeking efficient, non-renovation solutions to make their listings more compelling.
Today, through Staging Concepts, Riya brings this experience and approach to Mumbai — styling hotels, guest houses, serviced apartments, and Airbnb properties to feel inviting, aspirational, and move-in ready. Her work centres on selective, value-driven staging that enhances presentation without civil work, over-design, or unnecessary investment — ensuring properties are prepared thoughtfully for their next chapter.
